Meet my new obsession: InStyle’s ‘Hollywood Makeover’.
I can’t tell you how many hours of my life I have completely lost in my infatuation with this program. I have tried on every celebrity hairstyle, copied their makeup, lipstick, eyeshadows, changed the colour of my eyes! And then I did it all again for my friends. And my family. And family friends. I haven’t stooped to making over animals but don’t think it hasn’t crossed my mind. So… to somewhat justify it – and maybe offer up a little self-examination that may lessen my condition – I want to share some of the results with you.

The combination of neutral tones with a pop of pink was both demure and playful. Appropriately for me, Rachel’s makeup artist was also her sister, Kayleen McAdams. She explains her inspiration…
For the Midnight in Paris photo call, the dress was very youthful and fun. We knew we were focusing on the eyes and skin for the premiere [later that day], so we chose to do a bright fun lip.

Two beautiful brunettes. Two society darlings. Two trend-setting fashionistas. Both marrying a prince.
One may be a real life fairytale princess and one a small screen anti-heroine with Grace Kelly aspirations but it seems that Catherine of Wales and Blair Waldorf of the Upper East Side share one more thing in common.
